Welcome back to school! This is our grade one blog to help keep you informed about what is happening in our class and in our school. I am looking forward to working with your children this year.
Please check your child's backpack for an "AGENDA BAG". The order for the actual agenda has been delayed. I will send you more information about the agenda once the school has decided how best to proceed.
Inside the agenda bag you will find:
* a copy of my "Back to School" newsletter
* Please ensure that the agenda bag is returned to school every day. Please check the agenda bag each night Any notes for me can be sent in the agenda bag for now.
*a school year calendar - please post it somewhere handy. It shows all school holidays and Professional Development days when the students are not in school.
* a student information verification sheet - Please read to ensure all information is accurate. Cross out any incorrect info. and print the corrections right on the sheet. Then, sign the form and return it to school in the agenda bag.
***Tomorrow I will send home an ALL ABOUT ME BAG - please help your child to fill the bag and return it to school by Friday. Students will present their items in small groups over a few days to help their classmates get to know them. All items will be returned home once all of the presentations have been completed.
